Aqilah is a law graduate from University Sultan Zainal (UniSZA). During her studies, Aqilah was a committee member for the International Conference on Law and Globalization. She was also appointed as an Executive Committee of Publicity for Faculty of Law and International Relation Society for the year 2019/2020.

Aqilah commenced her Pupillage at Messrs. Chong, Surindar, Su & Associates under the guidance of Mr. Surindar Singh s/o Chain Singh who was then the Vice-President of Bar Council Malaysia and was subsequently admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in January 2023. She became a Legal Assistant at Messrs. Chong, Surindar, Su & Associates for 7 months where she has experience in conveyancing and general litigation.

Aqilah then decided to join PFA Malaysia to explore more about sports law
