Syafiq is the recipient of Anugerah Tokoh Siswa by the Ministry of Education in the year of 2017. He then commenced his pupillage at Zul Rafique & Partners in the year of 2020 and was called to the bar a year after.

Previously, he deals with matters ranging from Corporate Construction specifically on drafting construction contracts, Corporate Real Estate, majorly in handling HDA projects and advising clients, and also in Corporate Advisory matters mainly on enacting new laws and liasing with Government agencies.

Since he was in Sekolah Tuanku Abdul Rahman (STAR) Ipoh, he actively involved in sport activities such as cricket, volleyball and petanque. He and his team were crowned as the Champion of HKSBP-North Zone Cricket Tournament in the year of 2013.

Apart from sporting activities, he also enthusiastically partaking public speaking in his university years. He is the champion of numerous Malay Debate Championship and successfully contributed 7 titles to his university throughout his career as a debater.

He is currently pursuing his passion in sports law and developing new interest to become the best practitioner in this area.
