Formerly a student from SMK Methodist ACS Sitiawan and graduated Bachelor Degree in Communication and Media Studies Hons. Broadcasting at Universiti Teknologi MARA, Shah Alam.

Been involved in sports especially football and cycling during studies days as an athlete and technical team staff. Fun fact, Afiq also have passionate towards local football by keep on supporting local football club and also Malaysia National Football team well. Upon from that, he also involve and manage a football team played in Klang Valley Social League.

Been involve in sport media related in early 2021 and experience in broadcasting during internship days with local TV station and also been involved in event management as a crew and floor manager with local organizer especially in football event and also motorsports event.

Previously had working as a media executive with a local football team that play in Liga Super Malaysia and also Liga Premier Malaysia base in Klang Valley for almost 2 years by doing media relation, account management, sports marketing and also creating content such as graphic and also video for team publicity.
